Theatrical Belly Dance Conference – 2010
I attended the 2010 Theatrical Belly Dance Conference and it was a phenomenal experience. I took master classes with the following: Elisheva of Belly Queen, Hanan, the late Jeniviva Mia & Ranya Renee. This was the first year of the conference and I was so excited to attend. In fact, my participation was slightly limited due to the fact that I fractured my foot and was confined to a “boot” for the summer of 2010. The conference culminated with an open stage for all workshop participants and it was my pleasure to dance to Miles Davis’ summertime.

Images of me performing at K Lounge in Elmont back in 2010. The bartenders at the time were coworkers of mine from when I worked at Tabu. They invited me to come and dance on part of an open mic night they were having.
Bravo’s “The Fashion Show” – 2009
Back in 2009, I auditioned and became a part of the cast of “Real Women” that designing contestants had to design for on Bravo’s “The Fashion Show”. What an awesome experience it was, I had a blast and it was fun pretending to be a model for a day 🙂
